This month Mark Moxon will be making his way back to the pub to run through all the projects he's been working on since his previous visit.
The main focus will be explaining how he added Econet support to Archimedes Elite. However to get there he will start with an overview of what that networking support entails (spoiler - sadly it's not full multiplayer games!) and how he first added it to the original BBC Elite.
Mark will then look at his other RISC OS disassembly project which analysed Lander, the first ever Archimedes game that came as a demo with every machine before being released commercially as Zarch. Having documented the code he then modified it to increase the landscape size to create BigLander.
Finally he will cover his latest project, the sideways RAM version of Electron Elite. This has added back all the BBC features that were originally cut due to the Electron's reduced memory and processor speed. This will culminate in a look at the Elite source code family tree, showing the development history of Elite.
There's a report on The Icon Bar, and you can download the slides.
